    SciMed Partners’ team approach allows collaboration across focus areas, disciplines, and industries. With more than 60 senior level executives in multiple focus areas, we are able to bring expertise not only throughout the entire product life cycle, but all major functional areas as well from ideation to commercialization.

Senior level executives head our medical device and diagnostics teams with a deep backgrounds in commercialization of companies in the medical device and diagnostics spaces.

          Other team members include those with experience in clinical/regulatory, reimbursement, quality management processes and procedures, product development, manufacturing, business development, and marketing.
















Healthcare Technology Team

A former Venture Capitalist with a background in high tech leads our Healthcare Tech team.  The team includes those with healthcare monitoring, sensing, telehealth and telemedicine, patient billing/coding/reimbursement, and hospital environment backgrounds. They have experience in all phases of the product and commercialization lifecycle. In addition, provider applications include hospital readmission reduction, disease management, and post-operative care.


Biotechnology Team

This team includes those with experience in medical, agricultural, and industrial applications. Team members work cross-functionally in the application areas as well as with convergent technologies.


Pharmaceutical Team

SciMed’s pharmaceutical team contains scientists, patent agents, and business intelligence specialists from some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical firms including branded and generics. All team members have performed at senior level and executive levels.


Intellectual Property Team

SciMed maintains a team that addresses issues related to intellectual property and focuses on maximization of IP as a business strategy. The team consists of two patent agents, two intellectual property attorneys, an intellectual property/business intelligence specialist and a specialist in technology transfer. This team includes members with experience transferring technologies from international settings and academic institutions. This team also functions to scout, evaluate, and assess innovations  for corporations.for corporations
